Why London
Workflow automation for London professional services and finance teams
A London professional services firm onboards a new client through six systems: conflict check, engagement letter, AML verification, practice management entry, billing setup and a welcome email someone remembers to send on Thursday. Each handoff is an email, and each email is a delay the client notices. We build Power Automate flows that run the sequence end to end: the engagement letter goes out from a template, the AML check triggers on signature, the matter opens itself in the practice system and the fee earner gets a Teams message when the file is ready. Finance teams in multi-entity groups get the other standard London build: invoice approval flows that route by entity, value and budget line instead of sitting in a partner's inbox. Every step logs itself, which compliance teams here ask about before anything else. We run process-mapping workshops at your office anywhere in zones 1 and 2, or at Rex House on Regent Street.

Power Automate Services
Power Automate is Microsoft's workflow automation platform for connecting the systems you already run and removing the manual steps between them. We map the process, then build flows your team can see into and change: approvals, invoicing, onboarding, document handling, alerts. It connects Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, SQL Server and more than 1,000 other systems through built-in connectors, and first builds often run on Microsoft 365 licences you already hold.

POWER Automate QUESTIONS

Answers to the questions UK businesses ask us most about Power Automate.

Can Power Automate work with our practice management system?

Yes. We run flow-building and solution-design training at Rex House on Regent Street or your office, from first flows to environments and governance for your maker team.

Do you offer Power Automate training in London?

Yes. We run flow-building and solution-design training at Rex House on Regent Street or your office, from first flows to environments and governance for your maker team.

Which areas around London do you cover?

The whole of Greater London plus Watford, St Albans and the M25 corridor. Businesses further out are often served from our Reading or Guildford bases.

Can this integrate with my current systems?

Yes. Power Automate connects Microsoft 365 apps like Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and Excel, plus Dynamics 365, SQL Server, Salesforce, Power BI and Power Apps, through Microsoft's connector ecosystem. Where no standard connector exists, we use APIs, custom connectors or desktop flows and RPA to bring older applications into the loop. (Microsoft Learn)

Do we need internal IT skills?

No. We handle discovery, workflow design, build, permissions, testing, launch and ongoing support. All we need from you are the people who own each process and know how approvals, exceptions and handoffs should really work.

What's the real return on investment?

The return comes from hours saved, fewer manual handoffs, faster approvals and fewer re-keying mistakes. We map your high-volume admin processes first and estimate the monthly time saved before we build anything, so every workflow has a clear business case behind it.

What do I need to use Power Automate?

You need a modern web browser, a Microsoft work or school account, and the right Microsoft 365 or Power Automate licence for the flows you want to run. Some standard connectors come with your existing Microsoft 365 licensing. Premium connectors, desktop flows and attended or unattended RPA need extra licensing, which we spell out for you up front.

Which email addresses are supported?

Power Automate cloud flows need a Microsoft work or school email address. Since 27 July 2025, Microsoft no longer supports personal accounts such as Gmail or Outlook.com for signing in. (Microsoft Learn)

What is Microsoft Power Automate used for?

Power Automate handles repeatable business processes: approval routing, notifications, data entry, invoice handling, staff onboarding, file management, CRM updates and reporting. Cloud flows connect your apps to each other, desktop flows bring RPA to older systems, and AI Builder reads documents and triggers actions from what they contain.
